Finalmente parece que el cine está regresando a su ritmo previo al Covid-19. Cada vez son más las películas que causan revuelo y se convierten en tema de conversación. 2022 inició con una ola de contagios, pero ahora que parece estar bajando, coincide con la llegada de las nominaciones a los premios más populares en la industria cinematográfica.
Los premios estaban planificados para el 27 de febrero, pero por razones que no fueron reveladas (aunque puede ser que la idea fuera estar lo más lejos posible del invierno y de otra ola de contagios) la ceremonia se movió hasta el 27 de marzo. Se trata de la ceremonia número 94, por lo que nos acercamos al centenario de estos premios que a pesar de ser altamente criticados, continúan siendo un espectáculo imperdible para muchos.
Con The Power of the Dog, Dune y West Side Story liderando las nominaciones, se trata de unos premios muy especiales. Favoritos del público como Guillermo del Toro y Kirsten Stewart tienen nominaciones en los premios más importantes y sin duda serán los que encabecen las quinielas de este año.
